Atelier Nord is a project base for unstable art forms, such as electronic and new media art. Our aim is to create better conditions for these art forms, and to maintain a critical reflection in relation to them. Our work consists of producing and supporting projects that promote these goals.
We produce both collaborations and self initiated projects. A project can involve producing works of art, workshops, exhibitions and conferences. The projects vary in size and duration. For examples look here.

General
Atelier Nord supports productions and projects through technical, administrative and artistic expertise, work space, equipment and infrastructure. The target groups for collaboration are visual artists, performing artists, experimental designers, architects, programmers, filmmakers, art historians and institutions. On one hand we offer various, basic services for all artists. On the other hand, we have special solutions for project collaboration, where Atelier Nord takes responsibility for a greater part of the production. Project Collaboration
In larger projects Atelier Nord can collaborate with an external initiator. A project can involve producing works of art, exhibitions, workshops, publications, conferences and other arrangements. The most common form for collaboration, is for the initiator to be the curator or artistic director for the project, while Atelier Nord assumes the production responsibilities. Thus the applicants are expected to be highly competent within their field, and to have a distinct idea about how and why the project is to be accomplished.

Standard Services
Our standard services aim to support artists etc. working with individual, or smaller projects.
Atelier Nord can for instance provide work space and equipment.
Project room and lab
While working with your own project at Atelier Nord, you can get access to the project room and lab. This type of activity supposes that you know how to use the equipment, or that you will bring someone who can operate the equipment for you. It is also possible to rent/borrow office accommodations. To receive these kinds of services, please email us a short project description, including information about requested time and kind of equipment. Note: Atelier Nord will process requests and reply within two working weeks.
Equipment rental
Atelier Nord collaborates with Presentations Data on delivering technical equipment, such as projectors. Through this deal, you can order a variety of equipment with 20-25% price reduction.
