Course details
Both courses are identical. They aim to strengthen your story writing abilities for film, TV, video, stage, novels, short stories, radio, etc. Participants for either course should come with an idea or rough draft for a story project. Any genre is acceptable (drama, comedy, romance, horror, thriller, documentary, etc).
We will concentrate on perfecting your story. Scripts will be analyzed in class with special attention to story structure, character, dialogue and narrative development. Other topics applied to your story will include; creating unforgettable characters, strengthening every scene of your script and making your concept more unique and interesting.
Through lecture, in-depth 1-to-1 and group feedback, rewriting and rethinking your story, participants will be expected to make considerable progress with their individual projects.
The courses will be conducted in English.
Writing teams of up to 2 people are also welcome to apply.
Previous participants of past workshops with Kelly may, of course, also apply to this workshop with their new or previous projects in order to further tighten and polish their ideas.

Kelly Davies (brief bio)
Born 1974, Texas. Kelly has written, directed and worked as a script consultant on short and feature films, TV advertisements, stage plays and radio plays. He has also conducted numerous lectures and courses in Norway, Japan, The Netherlands, Sweden and the UK. He is currently working on two feature films and a sitcom for the BBC.
