Tuesday 27th - Saturday 31st of January 2009
Atelier Nord, Wergelandsveien 17, Oslo (Kunstnernes Hus)
This workshop is held in collaboration with Rodchenko School of Photography and Multimedia Art in Moscow. With an emphasis on the discourse on material/immaterial art practice, the workshop participants will be producing collaborative artworks via the Internet.
The central topics of the workshop are authorship and the uniqueness of an art object in the time of global communication. Participants of the workshop at Atelier Nord in Oslo and students of Rodchenko School in Moscow will exchange tasks, whose content consists of creating a tangible work of art (photograph, video, audio, etc.). Participants in Oslo will be creating the works for students in Moscow and vice versa.
