BULL.MILETIC is Artists in Residency at Atelier Nord

BULL.MILETIC is artists in residency at Atelier Nord from mid november 2004 till the end of january 2005. The residency is in collaboration with NICFA (Nordic Institute for Contemporary Art) and OCA (Office for Contemporary Art Norway).

BULL.MILETIC is the collaborative team of Synne BULL [Norway] and Dragan MILETIC [Serbia & Montenegro], founded in San Francisco in 2000.

Bull.Miletic work with single- and multiple-channel video installations where the moving image turns away from the paradigm of reality through an emphasis on the ’spatialization of time.’ By investigating the nuances between presentation and representation, they expose the ordinary as a succession of spectacles in between physical and imagined space.

BULL.MILETIC’s work has been shown internationally at venues including the Whitney Museum of American Art’s Artport, New York, Pasadena Museum of California Art, Victorian Arts Center, Melbourne, Pacific Film Archive, Berkeley, Walter and McBean Galleries, San Francisco, MoCA, Los Angeles, Transmediale, Berlin, and IMPAKT, Utrecht.
