September first Atelier Nord moved from Lakkegata to Kunstnernes Hus in Wergelandsveien 17.  The staff at Atelier Nord really appreciate the move to this beautiful functionalist house which is an important meeting place for artists and art experiences in Oslo. Atelier Nord are using the former offices of OCA (office for contemporary art) and also one of the studios in the back of the building. On the mezzanine level, you can find the Atelier Nord administration as well as a media- and electronics lab. The studio is Atelier Nord’s project room and will house workshops, testing of projects and installations, exhibitions, etc.

Moving is a large operation and we are still settling in the new space, but we hope that all systems will be up and functioning as before, within short time.
