How to get to the exhibition at Henie Onstad Art Centre
Henie Onstad Art Centre is situated in Bærum Municipality, approximately 15 kilometres from the centre of Oslo. Easy accessibility by public transport – take bus no. 151 from Oslo Bus Terminal to Høvikodden (25 minutes). Departures every 15 minutes.

Oslo Airport Gardermoen – Oslo Central Station (Oslo S)
By train
There are several regional and local trains between Gardermoen and Oslo S. The way to the railway platforms is signposted from the main arrival hall.
Departure times are typically 08 and .38 past the hour, although you may board any local or regional train towards Oslo (i.e. the ones that do not say «Flytoget» on them).
Travel time is between 25 and 35 minutes.
You purchase your ticket on board, it’s NOK 82,- for a single journey (return not available) and you will need to have Norwegian currency (ATM and bank services in the main arrival hall). Do not purchase a ticket from the «Flytoget» machines, as they are twice the price of a regular ticket for the regional or local trains.
The «Flytoget», or Airport Express service, run from the same platform, is marginally faster (about 5-10 minutes), but a lot more expensive. A single ticket costs NOK170,- if you buy it from the stall, or 160,- from the ticket machine. Please avoid using the Airport Express Train if you can.
Return by train
From Oslo S, take the local train towards Eidsvold at .21 past the hour, or the regional train towards Lillehammer at .37 past the hour. Tickets may be purchased from the ticket boot, the NSB ticket machines, or on board the train for NOK 82,-
By bus
There is a bus service «SAS Flybussen» to Oslo Bus Terminal, departing from #17 in front of the arrival hall (to the far right when you exit the building). It is both slower and more expensive that the local or regional trains, so best avoided.
The fare is NOK 120 sigle and 220 return, and you purchase your ticket from the driver. The travel time is approximately 50 minutes, although the bus is more susceptible to delays during rush hours.
Departure times are .00, .20 and .40 past the hour.
Return by bus
Returning from Oslo to Gardermoen, the SAS Flybussen departs from Oslo Bus Terminal .10, .30 and .50 past the hour, with some deviations from this for very early or very late departures, and on the weekends. If you inted to use the SAS Flybussen, pick up a timetable on your outward journey.
Sandefjord Lufthavn Torp – Oslo Bussterminal (Oslo S)
If you are arriving at Torp, then bus is the only option. Travel time is approximately two hours. . The fare is NOK 250,- return, purchase your ticket from the driver (ATM and bank in the arrival hall for Norwegian currency). Please ask your driver for a new timetable when you arrive, which will tell you the departure times for your return journey too. The schedule changes 28 October, so we are not able to tell you the departure times, but rest assured that there are always corresponding buses with Ryanair flights.
