Egbert Mittelstädt is a media artist working with live video, spacial projections and slitscan photography. During his residency at Atelier Nord he will collaborate with electronic music composer Geir Jensen (Biosphere) on developing live video sequences for Biosphere´s upcoming concerts with the newly released album N plants.

In the workshop Egbert Mittelstädt will present his methods and approach to live video utilizing the software TouchDesigner, a PC based (soon to be Mac compatible) real time compositing software which allows great flexibility and multi layer processing in a live context.

During the presentation and concert at ANX Wednesday 28.09 Egbert and Geir will present examples of their collaborations and play parts of their set from the upcoming concert tour.
