I løpet av denne workshopen skal vi lage våre egne mikroskop ved å modifisere optikken i et standard webkamera med fokuseringslinse. En viktig faktor for god kvalitet på bildene er stativet som skal holde kameraet på plass i forhold til prøven man vil undersøke. Vi vil drøfte ulike prinsipper og muligheter for justering et mikroskop kan og bør inneholde, og konstruere stativ med utgangspunkt i tilgjengelige materiale og verktøy.

During the workshop we will convert simple usb web cameras w/focus lenses, into microscopes. An important factor in achieving good quality images from the microscope, is the mechanical properties of the stand which enables focusing on the sample and which keeps the camera in position. We will discuss different principles for adjustment which a microscope should include and construct stands from the available tools and materials.
