Mor Efronys live sound piece «Beats and Bells» will be performed 19.30 on the opening evening.

True to tradition, Atelier Nord is showing an exhibition with the artists who share the studio community Olaf Ryes plass 2 during the Oslo Open. In addition to the exhibition in the gallery on the ground floor, which is operated by Atelier Nord, there will also be open studios on the other floors of the building on Saturday. 

On Saturday Oslo Open’s pop-up office will be present in the exhibition. They will offer tips on studio collectives to visit as well as free coffee.

Oslo Open is an artist-run organization established in 2000 by artists and a number of national and local art institutions. The main activity of Oslo Open is to arrange open studios in April each year where professional visual artists with studios in Oslo open their doors to the public.

Under Oslo Open viser Atelier Nord en utstilling med kunstnerne som deler atelierfellesskapet Olaf Ryes plass 2. I tillegg til utstillingen i galleriet i første etasje, som driftes av Atelier Nord, vil det også være åpne atelierer i de øvrige etasjene i bygningen.

Oslo Open er en kunstnerstyrt organisasjon etablert i år 2000 av kunstnere og en rekke nasjonale og lokale kunstinstitusjoner. Hovedaktiviteten til Oslo Open er å arrangere åpne atelier i april hvert år hvor profesjonelle billedkunstnere og kunsthåndverkere med atelier i Oslo kommune åpner sine dører for publikum.
