Welcome to an artist talk between Þorgerður Ólafsdóttir and Þóra Pétursdóttir. The conversation focuses on Ólafsdóttir’s exhibition Future Remains, on display at Atelier Nord from April 17th to June 14th.

Þorgerður Ólafsdóttir is a visual artist based in Iceland. She graduated with a Master of Fine Art from the Glasgow School of Art in 2013. In her work she explores transitions or evidence of changes that things and places undergo, whether encompassing a single moment, a human lifetime, or existing on a geological scale.

Þóra Pétursdóttir is Professor of Archaeology at Department of Archaeology, Conservation and History, University of Oslo. Her research combines contemporary archaeology, heritage studies and environmental humanities and many of her projects have involved collaborations with the arts.
