Welcome to an artist talk with Inger Lise Hansen, in connection with her exhibition DAM. The conversation will be led by curator and writer Mike Sperlinger and will take place in the exhibition space. Read more about the exhibition here.

Inger Lise Hansen works with experimental film and animation. She was educated at the University of East London, Central-St. Martin’s College of Art and Design, and San Francisco Art Institute. Hansen’s films have been shown at venues including Tate Modern, National Gallery London, Pompidou Centre Paris, Tokyo Photographic Art Museum, OK Linz, Malmö Konsthall, Rencontres Internationales at the Louvre Museum and HKW in Berlin, Rotterdam Film Festival, and Hiroshima Animation Festival.

Mike Sperlinger is a writer and curator, as well as Head of Programme for Office for Contemporary Art Norway. Among his recent projects are the exhibition Counterimaginaries at Tromsø Kunstforening and The Social Life of Film, an international congress for “nomadic screening collectives” organized together with Terrassenkollektivet in Copenhagen (both 2023).
