Fusing Culinary and Solar Tech with Design
22. – 23. October, 2011, 10am – 4pm
Atelier Nord project room

A co-creation worklab with research based experimentations on the relation between -light-, food-, body- and electric energy. Fusing cooking and solar technology and designs, the participants will work with power berries, currants and other edibles to create ‘e-tapas’ of different aesthetics, smells and tastes.

As a participant you will use principles and tools from the realms of alchemistry, photovoltaics and cooking. The digestopians you will create are to be tested, tasted and documented on your heliotropic -light seeking- tongue.

Participants are encouraged to bring their own berries and food for experimentation.

The TpED-Worklab #8 is part of a series, fused by PhoEf: The Undisclosed Poésis of the Photovoltaic Effect; an artistic research project by Bartaku (Brussels, BE).

Bartaku is a Brussels based artist with a special interest in tropes and hyper-wounded realities. He is a member of transdiciplinary lab FoAM [http://fo.am] and of the r-ohm collective.
