August 23, 2013 the first of two video programs which focuses on the relation between body and identity will be launched at Hokksund Ungdomsskole in Øvre Eiker. The video artists Jumana Manna, Charlotte Thiis Evensen, Mattias Härenstam, Kristine Øksendal and Hans Gerhard Meier are participating with video works containing subjects like physical strain, doubt concerning the choice of wearing the hijab, ”customizing” and controlled use of the body. The program is curated by Susanne Ø. Sæther and is a cooperation between KORO, Atelier Nord, Hokksund ungdomsskole and Øvre Eiker Municipality. More about the two programs.

I løpet av første halvdel av 2013 lanseres et videoprogram som tematiserer forholdet mellom kropp og identitet på Hokksund ungdomsskole. Videokunstnerne Jumana Manna, Charlotte Thiis Evensen, Mattias Härenstam, Kristine Øksendal og Hans Gerhard Meier deltar med videoer som tar for seg kroppslig anstrengelse, om tvil omkring det å velge å bruke hijab, ikoniserte tegneseriehelter, ”kostymering”, kontrollert anvendelse av kroppen og sangtekster med støtende innhold. Programmet er kuratert av Susanne Ø. Sæther og er et samarbeid mellom KORO, Atelier Nord, Hokksund ungdomsskole og Øvre Eiker kommune. Les mer om hver av videoene i programmet her.
