Videokunst i ungdomsskolen

Early 2013 a video program which focuses on the relation between body and identity will be launched at Hokksund Ungdomsskole. The video artists Jumana Manna, Charlotte Thiis Evensen, Mattias Härenstam, Kristine Øksendal and Hans Gerhard Meier are participating with video works containing subjects like physical strain, doubt concerning the choice of wearing the hijab, ”customizing” and controlled use of the body. The program is curated by Susanne Ø. Sæther and is a cooperation between KORO, Atelier Nord, Hokksund ungdomsskole and Øvre Eiker Municipality. Read more about the program here.
