With Amber Ablett and Miki Gebrelul

Date: Saturday April 5th at 1:00 PM followed by a shared dinner at 4:00 PM.
Location: Atelier Nord, Olaf Ryes plass 2.

A writing and discussion workshop within the listening structure of Amber Ablett’s exhibition at Atelier Nord, organised by Ablett and activist and curator Miki Gebrelul. Together we will observe and reflect upon the ways we make sense of our own cultural connections and the ways in which we accuate our relationship to home, exploring how these relate to ancestral and generational encounters. The workshop is informed by Miki Gebrelul’s research project, «Minorised subjects of desire: Understanding of identity among queer people with minority backgrounds in Norway» and draws on deep listening and gestalt awareness experiments.

The workshop is open for Black, Indigenous, and people of color.
The workshop will be in Norwegian and English.
